Miscellaneous Fun with Family

Family time

I love watching my kids with their cousins. The sound of all the taking, playing and laughter didn't bother me...it even brings a smile to my face and makes me sad that it can't be everyday or more often. But then I remember how grateful I am that they get this time and I try hard to focus on that.

Thankful 7 & 8

I am thankful when I am useful to and appreciated by others. I have had the opportunity to magnify my Sport's council calling for the last 3 days. I spent about 12 hours over 3 days helping keep score for (women, coed and YW), 15 matches, most going 3 games.  

I also am thankful for refs who know what they are doing.

I'm excited that I was able to participate in 3 matches with women's & coed. As women we lost our first match, but won our second, so we are moving on in the tournament next week! As coed we had only one match last night and won in 2 games to 25, so we get to move on in that tournament too!

I've really enjoyed learning and playing and getting better at volleyball with playing our coed team.

Thankful 6

I'm thankful for laughter. It really can be the best medicine. I'm thankful for good sportsmanship and laughter as we played our tournament tonight. Even though we lost the first one, I still had fun. We did win against the second team so that was awesome!

Thankful 5

I am thankful for volleyball. I'm thankful I've been able to work with the youth for the last 6+ years. I'm thankful for the team I am a part of and especially those who have taught me SO much the last 2 years. I'm thankful we rotate and I'm not always setter or hitter. I'm excited for the women's tournament tomorrow and the coed tournament Friday night. And I'm thankful the season is almost done and I will get my Thursday nights back.
