These are a few pictures of our favorite parts of the parade. Mathew's favorite thing of course was the candy being tossed out. But we didn't take a picture of that. He got tons of taffy's and tootsie rolls.
Michael likes the marching bands. He enjoys the instruments and it is pretty cool that these guys do so well as they walk. We did notice the guys playing the big drums looked a little, okay a lot, tired by the end of the parade. We also liked the girls throwing the flags and stuff. They did awesome. Allison thinks some day she'd like to be part of a marching band. Mom is still pulling for her to play a string instrument. :)
We liked this float because it was made to look like a lot of sweets. It got recognized as the most original.
And of course Allison LOVES the horses. There are always a lot of horses at the Art City Days Parade. This picture is of a guy dressed up as a Knight. His horse was HUGE!
