Mathew was the King of Hearts during one of the performances. So afterwards he had his dad take a picture of him in his King's hat. He is also holding his Humpty Dumpty.
Each of the kindergarteners picked a nursery rhyme to recite. Mathew picked Humpty Dumpty. The kids were allowed to dress up and/or bring props. We made Humpty Dumpty and brought some horses and king's men. This is actually a picture of Humpty Dumpty 2 because the original Humpty had a great fall...off our entertainment center.You'll notice in the video Mathew got a little flustered and didn't drop Humpty to break him and only showed the horses and not the men as well. We practiced OVER and OVER and OVER and he was counting and timing things right, but you know how we get when we are in front of a crowd and we forget the well practiced plan and we end up rushing thru...he still did a GREAT job!

I laughed so hard when I saw you comment about Humpty Dumpty 1 and his "great fall" how appropriate! Too bad it wasn't at the performance!
