We spent some time this last weekend decorating for Christmas. We thought about doing a real tree this year since we will be spending Christmas home for the first time, but decided on using our normal fake tree which we like.
The kids did a great job getting most of it put together.
The kids helped fluff out of the branches and Michael went around behind them double checking and fixing things here and there.
Final tree, completely set up and decorated in one evening...Thanksgiving night :)
Michael also insisted on having a wreath this year...I'm glad he did, it looks great!
He also put tons of lights up this year. Every year after Christmas the lights go on sale and he insists that we need them...well this year he finally used them. This picture doesn't do it justice. I'll have to see what we can do later for another picture. We also have red ribbon wrapped around our white poles as candy canes. It looks pretty cool! I love having our house decorated for Christmas!!
