Some Canada Pics

As always it is just easier for me to post some pictures and tell about them rather than try to type about the trip and tell a story. Hopefully the pictures will tell most of the story and sometime I might actually get around to telling more myself.

Little James who is 3 months older than Nicholas...the only other time they have been together they were 3 and 6 months old and not as mobile as they are now!

We thought it would be good to get a picture of all the grandchildren that were there (we were missing Judy's 4 who will be up for Christmas). We are hoping that amazing Suzie can pull off a photoshop miracle and put all the grandchildren in one pictures for Grandma. Especially since it won't be until June of next year that we should all be together again.

And of course the brothers were having fun doing "daring" type things around the yard. Generally they all did the same "trick" but it is always funny to watch them get together and enjoy doing stuff. They went on another hike together in Waterton this trip.

We did Thanksgiving the day before the actually holiday so that more of us could be together...then on Thanksgiving we went out to Siagonese (LOVE IT!) and went to a new park that had replaced an old park the grown kids had gone to when they were growing up. It was pretty cool. This swing was something I haven't seen elsewhere...it's like a round saucer.

We stayed at Suzie's house for a few nights and during that time we took a couple of walks over to the little pond/lake thing a couple of blocks away. Allison especially loved taking their dog Roxie out. It was pretty sunshiny and nice most of the time we were there.

One of the mornings we had a brunch at Suzie's new house and afterwards Jodi did a bunch of haircuts, including Taya's red hair. It is VERY curly and it was long curly...then they straightened it to cut it and this is a picture of that way long hair!!

Allison REALLY wanted to have her haircut, but she had just gotten it cut the week before and it REALLY didn't need cut again...so instead Aunt Jodi was nice enough to curl it up all cute for her.

Our niece Breanna LOVES art projects and does them quite a bit and my kids LOVED getting in on the action. They painted quite a bit and made some sticker projects a couple of times too.

What can I say....At-it-TUDE

Mathew is doing a country report on Canada in the next couple of weeks (or so) and one of the things we wanted to share with his class was a picture of the outlets for the cars to plug into in the wintertime. So here is a picture of the outlet near a parking space at one of the living facilities.
And here is one of my FAVORITE pictures even though it doesn't do the action justice...Nicholas enjoys flexing his muscles, grunting and making a face and has recently started "performing" this activity somewhat on demand and afterwards joins in the laughter. WAY CUTE!

Well that is a bit of the Canada trip. I will try to post some of "Thanksgiving" and stuff soon...I'll try now but I'm not sure if I am going to be able to do it now or not.
