Yesterday was Canada Day. My husband is from Canada. So Happy Canada Day!Every time I mention Canada Day someone asks me what it is that is being celebrated and everytime I find out I forget. This is what I have read and know (again):
Canada Day is Canada's national holiday, marking the establishment of Canada as a self-governing dominion on July 1, 1867. It is a federal holiday celebrated on July 1st, annually by all governments and most businesses across the country.
So Happy Canada Day and we love ya up there!
