Home again

Well we are back in Utah. Allison is FINALLY feeling better, but when it fits her purposes her stomache still hurts. I am happy to be back in my wonderful bed and home, but unpacking is far from over. I am also glad to be back home with Michael and the kids are happy to see him too.

Watermelon from Newell's Grandpa. Isn't it HUGE!

We tried to take some sister pictures with all 6 of us girls so that Stacy could have a new picture to put up in her classroom. The picture was going to be of the 6 of us girls and our faces and all. We ended up with 4 sets of legs.

This is Allison's happy cake. When we finally celebrated Allison's birthday this was her cake from Costco. It was chocolate with butter cream frosting and a cream cheese filling. The cream cheese flavor wasn't too overpowering (I am not a fan of cream cheese). It was YUMMY! A few of my sisters were impatient to have cake on Allison's birthday the day before. That is why the cake is missing some. Allison still only had a few bites of cake because she didn't feel good and it all came back up later. We plan to have another cake here sometime so she should at least enjoy that. Allison is having like 3 or more birthdays this year. :)

We were able to go swimming at my aunt's house in her pool a couple of times. It took a little bit to get Mathew to try the diving board, but once he did we couldn't get him to stop. He even created a few new jumps, including the "ribbit." He hops off like a frog and says ribbit. He tried a cannonball, but he would just jump off, stay straight and say "cannonball," instead of curling up his legs. Allison is getting really good at swimming and had no fear. She would just take off and we would realize she was in a deeper area and we should be watching her. She knows she can bounce off the bottom and come up for air if she can't quite make it to where she is going. I love watching her do so well.

We also played cards a few times. We played Rage. It is a new card game my mom ordered online and ended up with 5 different sets. (At least one set was in German.) It is a pretty fun game. It is a variation on one that we played when we were a little younger. The way Emily puts it is, it's a version of the game on steriods. It is pretty fun and playing that game with Newell is a riot.
