Canada

We just returned home from Canada on Saturday. We went up to be with the family and to have a Memorial for Opa. He passed away at 9 p.m. on March 27th. He chose to be cremated so we had a Memorial at Judy's church building on Thursday April 3rd. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. He left behind his wife of almost 60 years, 2 children Anita (Wayne) and Rudy (Lynn). Opa had 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren (the 8th one is due in May). His son Rudy and Rudy's wife Lynn and one of their son's Bobbie were able to be with all the King family at the church for the Memorial and a luncheon afterwards. I am grateful to be part of the LDS church and the Relief Society. Judy's Relief Society took care of food and music for us that day. I am grateful that this occurs around the world and the Relief Society is willing and ready to help no matter where we are. I am also glad to know that we will be with Opa again.

This is Brody. He walks around entertaining himself pretty well. He found our camera and was walking around with it like this. We thought it was cute, so I took the camera out and took a picture. He will be 18 months this month.

This is Breanna. She is such a cutie. She was waving to us. She says hi and waves. She can walk, but doesn't choose to very often. She is very attached to her mom.

We celebrated Jodi's birthday on Wednesday the 2nd with a YUMMY ice cream cake...I ate too much and the ice cream gave me a stomach ache. But boy was it GOOD!

And of course there was much playing of the Guitar Hero while we were around. Even Mathew was getting in on it this time, though he had to have Allison do the colors while he "strummed."

We are glad we were able to be with the family.
